Show & Tell for Assignment 1 - Minature
Initially during class I was really drawn to Lori Nix’s work. Especially the photographs that were in those kind of ghost town cities.
These photos of when the pandemic first hit were taken by Ashlee Rezin Garcia at The Sun Times. When thinking about architectural structures and keeping the idea of a ghost town city scape in the back of my mind I thought of this series.
There was this tweet going around earlier this week that said ‘I can’t wait to touch the bean when covid is over’ so I was thinking of making the bean out of materials and then including either my hand or another type of object to distort the scale.
Things I want to convey/keep in mind.
