Originally Witten for Imprint Entertainment Sunday night I was on my way to my second Samia show within five months, this time at Thalia Hall. Up and coming indie folk artist, Samia, returned to Chicago for another sold out show for her Loving U Thanking U Tour this weekend. This is only the singer’s second headlining tour, her first being a short run last fall. The show definitely exceeded my expectations in a lot of ways and it was a great time.
The night started out with opener Annie Dirusso and her band taking the stage and performing a track titled “Dead Dogs.” The set was filled with high energy & dance breaks coming from not only Dirusso but her two guitarists Daniel Nunnelee and Benjamin Sheridan as well. Read the full thing here.
